MacGregor Black is partnering with a Global Lifestyle Brand who are looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their European Finance team in London .

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager , you will support the full accounts receivable cycle across the European region, helping to ensure financial integrity, timely collections, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers.
  • Assist in daily cash application, including allocation of incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts.
  • Help monitor accounts to identify overdue payments, escalating risks to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and manage queries professionally.
  • Assist with the preparation of ageing reports and provide updates on outstanding balances.
  • Support the credit management process, including gathering information for customer credit reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales and finance teams, to help resolve account issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly accounts receivable reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the accounts receivable function.

What are we looking for?

  • 1–3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or similar finance role.
  • Experience working in the apparel, consumer products, or a fast-paced commercial environment (preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Salary circa 40-45k
