This is an exciting role to help lead and shape the Global Reward function. You will develop and implement reward initiatives to support our global business strategy, and deliver group-wide operational Reward processes

What You’ll Do:

  • Shape and lead the Total Reward strategy to attract, retain, engage and motivate colleagues. Working with the Chief People Officer, Chief Financial Officer and regional business leaders, delivering on a number of strategic, executive performance and reward projects.
  • Preparation of reward papers for the Board, People Governance Committee and Executive Committee.
  • Working in close conjunction with finance, oversee Partner Reward ensuring provision of Partner management information, Partner reward communications, Partner role benchmarking and Partner performance evaluation.
  • Provide leadership for the Reward function to enable it to deliver greater impact and support the business strategy of growth, including aligning performance and reward and Workforce Analytics. People manager for global reward team of three.
  • Provide guidance and support across our global business with all reward related issues. Deliver the annual reward cycle, including all employee pay review and bonus payments, and salary benchmarking. With the Global HR Shared Service Centre, oversee the delivery of operational Reward processes.
  • Work with regional HR teams and the Global HR Shared Service Centre to ensure market competitive benefits and retirement plans are in place, delivered and communicated in a coherent and cost effective manner.
  • Management of reward considerations relating to global mobility, including (working with the Global Head of Tax) on tax compliance and split payments.
  • This role will require both strategic vision and ‘hands-on’ operational delivery.

Who You Are:

Essential

  • Significant, relevant and recent experience of working in progressively senior reward roles demonstrating both strategic and operational capability.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a global reward function covering all aspects of reward from fixed, to variable, to benefits and pensions
  • Several years’ experience influencing at the Executive level of organisations, ideally including Remuneration Committee exposure.
  • High business and commercial intellect and a proven ability to link this to reward.
  • Experience of managing and developing a Reward team with global remit.
  • Knowledge of complex international employee and expatriate tax arrangements.

Desirable

  • Preference for experience in Professional Services and/or Partnership environments.
  • Experience in a HR consulting / fee-earning environment
  • Experience in working in a matrixed organisation.
  • Exposure to truly global Reward, with experience across diverse countries a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledge of Employee Ownership Trusts an advantage, but not essential
