Barden have been asked to act on behalf of a global technology company to lead the appointment of an experienced Manager – PMO to join the Business Readiness team on a 2- year Fixed Term Contract basis. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Internal Controls project pillar, ensuring business readiness and successful adoption of new processes, systems, and policies aligned with regulatory requirements such as SOX.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Lead the planning, execution and successful delivery of internal control change initiatives that shape the future of the finance organisation
- Serve as a central point of contact for managing project scope, budgets and timelines
- Be responsible for ensuring clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders
- Focus on aligning project outcomes with the organisations strategic objectives.
- Serve as a central point of co-ordination for the transformation workstream – ensuring alignment to overall programme governance
- Liaise closely with other managers such as project and change managers across other pillars
- Establish and support on a robust project management framework
- Develop and manage integrated programme plans and ensure synchronisation across the different programmes
ABOUT THE PERSON:
A driven and collaborative project manager who can bring structure and focus to a dynamic transformation programme. You will need a strong track record in managing complex project initiatives, ideally within a finance function, and the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence at all levels of the organisation.
The ideal person will have:
- At least 7-8 years of experience leading large-scale transformation programmes in complex, global organisations.
- Proven success in delivering a transformation programmes of work – within Finance or SOX.
- Familiarity with internal controls frameworks such as SOX or ICFR would be highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities, with experience developing clear, engaging content for different audiences.
