This position is within BDO’s Financial Model Assurance Services team, providing transactional model assurance and financial modeling services to global blue-chip sponsors, banks, financial institutions, and funds for major infrastructure, energy, and digital projects worldwide.
The projects include petrochemical plants, LNG trains, water desalination plants, IWPP projects in the Middle East; wind and rail projects across the UK and Europe; government transport projects in the Benelux; and digital infrastructure and energy from waste projects in the UK.
The Director role involves leading the team, deputizing for Partners, planning and monitoring work, quality control, business development, and practice growth.
You’ll be someone with
- Experience managing Financial Model Audits throughout the engagement lifecycle, including commercial management
- Extensive project finance experience, including origination and delivery of financial modeling mandates
- Knowledge of PPP, project finance, infrastructure, and renewables is preferred; experience in quality and risk reviews
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Strong commercial management skills and a track record in business development and client relationship management
- Proven leadership in managing and developing teams
