Your Responsibilities

Due to continued successful growth, we are hiring for a Construction Account Handler to join our Construction team in London.

As a Construction Account Handler, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day service delivery to a mixed portfolio of UK Construction clients and projects.

You will act as a client advocate, serving as a key contact within the account team, working with a range of clients from commercial to large corporate accounts.

Role responsibilities will include:

• Provide day-to-day servicing of a client’s insurance programme to support retention and development of the business
• Research, prepare, and present renewal reports to the account team in accordance with the renewal report process
• Obtain quotations for new and renewal business
• Prepare market presentations
• Manage credit control processes, track premium payments, pursue uncollected premiums, and escalate issues as per process
• Serve clients as an advocate for their needs, ensuring delivery of exceptional service through regular interaction
• Check policy documentation diligently in accordance with regulations
• Respond to and manage queries including changes in cover and risk
• Identify risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the team
• Provide management information as needed
• Build and nurture long-lasting client relationships and expand your network

Qualifications

• Construction experience is essential
• Strong technical knowledge of construction risks and associated casualty lines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to attend external client meetings
• Energetic, eager to learn, and capable of developing within our business
• Primarily an office-based role with training and study support
