ICT Design Engineer

Attention all ICT Design Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity with a leading engineering consultancy. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work up to three days a week in their London office and will focus on the design of critical facilities, including data centres.

Our client is a global-leading engineering consultancy specialising in built environment design and data centre design services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and deliver ICT systems to meet client needs and specifications.
2. Collaborate with project teams, architects, and clients to gather requirements.
3. Provide technical expertise during design and implementation.
4. Prepare design documentation, conduct feasibility studies, and provide cost estimates.
5. Oversee system installation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
6. Assist in integrating ICT solutions with existing infrastructure.

Key Requirements:

1. Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Experience with network design, configuration, and implementation.
3. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD).
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Experience of Security & ICT infrastructure design and technical design coordination experience.
6. Large scale data centre experience would be highly preferable.
7. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus!
