HGV Class 2 Driver

Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a great opportunity based in Birmingham, on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual who is looking for a long term position in well-established company.Based in Central Birmingham, we are recruiting for a full-time HGV Class 2 driver working Monday to Friday – £14.00ph and £32,500 once permanent.This role will entail: – 5 day working week– Curtain sided vehicle with tail lift– Nationwide deliveries– Palletised goods– Some pump truck work involved– Immediate start availableKey details: – 06:00 starts– 42.5 hours contracted per week– Overtime available– 25 days holiday per year once permanent (3 taken automatically for Christmas closing)Rates of pay: – £14.00 per hour PAYE for first 8 weeks– £32,500 salary after 8 weeksRequirements for the role: – Have HELD your HGV C Licence for 2 years– Have 6 months of HGV C driving experience– Flexible to drive both 7.5T and C vehicles as required– Want to eventually upskill to a Moffett– Have no points or endorsements– Have a valid CPC & Digi cardAs a HGV Class 2 driver you will benefit from: – Weekly pay via BACS for first 8 weeks– 24 hour contact– Paid annual leave– Access to the Pertemps Training DivisionPlease click apply if interested or if any further questions, please contact for more information….
